sorry guys ,the licence was for a shotgun of which he had 2.the other person pressed no charges so after the night in the nick he was free to go.but still cannot get his guns or certificate back from the police.

hi guys ,someone i have been shooting with had his guns taken from him due to a "meeting "with someone he didnt like and spent the night in the nick ,the first thing the police did was take his guns and licence,am i breaking the laaw by lending him one of mine when we shoot

i did see that ,bit strange,but i only bought the gun on thursday and sold all my othr guns years ago ,so nothing to exchange

hi guys i am looking for a silencer for my hw77,i have seen a few but all the sites seem to say they can only send it to an rfd and something about a firearms cert.is this standard practice now ,i have been out of airgun shooting for over 20 years ,but hold a shotgun cert,anyone help please?

being new to the sport (done 3 100 bird shoots)i dont really understand this subject.i shot a barretta 686 with 1/4 in the top barrel & a cylinder in the bottom ,why,bceause the guy in the shop said it was the best configuration for a new shooter ,is this right :??blush: and if so why? pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese help me understand this

thanks for the welcome messages guys ,went to larkhill today ,100 bird shoot ,i shot 51 ,well chuffed,must be improving ,my last was 32! :)need to get insurance now i am all legal any suggestions

hi gordon, im not going to rush into buying a gun,but having used the browning it fits quite well and i like it ,as i will be buying it from a family member it will cost less than from a dealer and is a good starting point for me ,but i have had a couple of shots with the barretta and it is a lot lighter and also fits well ,but it will wait until i can afford it

hi guys,just a brief message to say hi.i have only had my liecence for about 4 weeks ,i have done 2 100 bird shoots ,only scored 30 + 32 but loved every minute of it ,i shoot a browning at the moment lent to me by a family member .i will be buying this gun but hope to get a barretta 686 special as well.i shoot in and around andover in hampshire.
