  1. i have just purchased an aa s410k and i intend to do some testing with 3 different brands of pellets to find out which pellets have the better f.p.s over 60 shots and to also find the sweet spot.how do i work out the fps spread over the 60 shots?

  2. anyone got a really nice aa s410k in .177 to sell,must have a scope and pref a couple of mags,or a hw100sk also in .177 with a scope.

cash waiting for the best combo

yes iv'e posted on there for an aa has well

  3. the gun in question is in good condition,it comes regged with a nite eye 3-9x50 ir scope, mounts, weichrach silencer and 10 shot mag, around 110 per fill and the price is £450,i actually thought this was over priced but thats just my opinion

i have since found out that the stock has a few dinks and marks on it and that its 3 years old so iv'e decided to give it a miss, the seller won't budge on the price either

  4. i was going to purchase but im set on the bsa r10 instead. depends on the price i'd personally buy it its a good gun

how many shots do you get from after it has been regged :good:

  5. another one for .177,i had been using .22 for around 20 years up until the summer of last year when i decided to try out .177,wish i had done a few years previous, more in the game bag than ever,.22 no thanks.

  6. simmons wtc 3.5-10x50, tremendous in low light, but for lamping with a air rifle almost any scope will do, i'm currently using a hawke sport hd 3-9x50 but i leave it on 4xmag when lamping, no problems at all.

hardest thing about lamping with a air rifle as you will no doubt find out is judging distances.

iv'e been lamping for a few years now and still misjudge the odd distance

  7. ATB with your quest, there are hundreds if not thousands and everyone will tell you theres is best!

I'm really not trying to be funny, but your question is akin to the .... How long is a piece of string, there just isn't an answer! :good:

maybe there is no answer but if i could just get a general feel has to what none parallax scopes people use.

  8. If you can't see the target with a CHEAP scope and a good lamp at 12 ft lb Air Rifle ranges may I suggest a trip to Specsavers!

    ATB!

i did not say i could not see the target with a cheap scope and good lamp,i started the thread to find out which none parallax scope would be ideal has i fancy a change from a parallax scope.

  9. Look, I'm going to be honest with you.. :hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm: (sounds familier)

The lamp is more important, YES a £1000-£1500 scope is likely to have the edge, but with a good lamp almost ANY scope will do at Air Rifle distances!

but surely some scopes will be better when used with a lamp

  10. Im thinking of changing my gun from .177 to .20, so im looking for someone who wants to change to from .20 to .177, I have one .177 barrel the inner and outer probe, and one 17 shot mag .So if anyone else has the same but in .20 fancy doing a swap??

  11. (now sold)

deben tracer compact 6v lamp with 100m beam, comes with battery, battery charger and plastic scope mount

    looking for £45 posted

  12. i have a mk2 rapid in .177 cal,i beleive it to be 2006-2007 model with the mk4 trigger, apart from the usual grub screw mark on the barrel from silencer is it unmarked condition, the stock has one very small dink at the buddy bottle end (i was going to rub this out and still may do)the rifle comes with a silencer and 1 17 shot mag the anti tamper has been removed so you can ajust for different pellet weights,it has had the dr bob quickfill fitted so you don't have to remove the buddy bottle to fill.

i am wanting to do a swap or deal depending on what rifle im offered.

    my prefered choices are

    mfr

    hw100sk

    aa s410k

    i may consider others.

    .177 or maybe .20 but not .22
