  1. Hi Andy, If you are interested I can sort a day out for you in the season where you can go as a spectrer and watch hawks hunting or if you prefer falcons on a field meeting just let me know atb Dave

Thanks for the posts in answer to some of them Yes it is rats and not mice and they are getting into the mews as I have seen them on the cctv Yes the birds do catch them the hawks more than the falcons which I would prefer they didnt No I do not know my poisons but would not risk any where the birds are due to as mentioned secondry poisoning to the birds that ar,nt cheep I have tried all the suggestions with no results to date I cannot go into the pens to ofton as its the breeding season now and they wont take being disturbed when on eggs Thanks for all the help Dave Here is one of the birds its a Harris X Redtail she is 3lb-14.5 lbs and hunts at 2-14lbs

  4. Thans for the suggestions I have tried the following bates in the past dayold chicks peanut butter cheese bread sausage bacon with limited results but I will try the suggestions posted and I have just had a couple of tunnel traps deliverd off ebay yesterday atb Dave

    Hi Everyone I am new to the forum and I breed and hunt falcons and hawks and as such I cannot use poisons I am looking for advice on what bait is the best to bait spring traps with I also have a couple of live traps any advice please Regards Dave
