Great video again ! Just watched the video of your brother shooting. Nice goose on first drive. Was that a left and right woodcock he got @ 1.05 ?
-
Nice shooting buddy, Some very nice headshots ! Shame about the end one for you

Brilliant video lad ! Also some nice high shots aswell. What sort of lead are you giving the first ones ?

As someone said earlier buy a full decoy.
Drill a hole in the middle. Fairly large.
Then you need to cut it in half.
After that buy some foam spray. Like you see on Top Gear challenges haha.
Put the decoy back together and spray the foam through the hole. But keep it tight together !
After that take it out and sand with a bit of sandpaper to level off.
After that buy some of that UV paint that pigeons see from UK shoot warehouse sell. Bird vision

You'll need white and grey. Then just paint it like a pigeon and you should have a cheep, light decoy.
If you try this let us know how it works.
Cheers

Got a hell of a lot of geese on mine and my neighbours fields. Picking all of the rotten potatoes that came out the back of the harvester last year. They are tramping the wheat and packing the soil !
We went yesterday in the morning with some home made silhouette type decoys and some greylag rags. But the wind was against us because we were new to the neighbours field we didn't know of anywhere else to go ! It hit 8.00 am and we heard the first honks. They were coming from the River Foulness about 100 yards from the field ( if anyone shoots this please post with advice ). About 750 were keen to come in but the did not like the wind.
After a slight failure we had a walk round in the day light and found a dike with 360 shooting but plenty of cover. Could have decoys on both fields. After finding this we went back at 2 o clock but they had moved on to other fields for feeding. We walked down to the flooded river and waited. Had a few come in but nothing special. Shot 3 teal though !
Anyhow the jist of it is I am wanting to purchase more decoys. Have 10 home made and 10 windsock bags / rags. They are ok but i was just after some more to make a bigger pattern.
Can anyone advise me on some good decoys. But remember I am from yorkshire and not keen of paying much haha.
Thanks very much

Hi everyone. I am buying a quad bike later on it the year for shooting rabbits etc. Can anyone reccomend some good accessories. At the moment I have a double gunrack and heated grips from my last one so any advice will be good. P S it will be a Honda 420 or 500

Thanks for all the feedback. Autos are usually longer because the barrels are 28 or however many inch, then the place where cartridges are cycled is an extra 4 inch before you get to the stock. Therefore it is like having a 32" barrel gun
-
Ah thanks. The main thing that is drawing me towards it is the low recoil !
-
My dad has literally just bought one. Browning Gold 10. I've fired about 20 shots with it and like it. Not as heavy as these side by sides ! And a fair bit less recoil
