  3. mud pattern what was the outcome of basc wildfowling team As everyone seems a tad confused now
  4. Hi anser Thanks for explaining that The way I interperated it from basc is as long as you are afloat and below HWM you are not on the foreshore ??
  5. Mag man you are right !!! When I spoke to basc last year about it , they told me it is legal below high water mark, but of corse where the foreshore is private and where it is also leased these areas must be avoided. And Anthony I can't work out how the ruddy hell you upload photos on here !!! Any ideas?
  6. I'm am not hiding anything thankyou Matt , it was a cock up of words and not explaining my question clearly enough.sorry for the confusion
  7. Now I have made my question clearer are there any answers ?
  8. Anser when you say we have moved on are you representing every single fowler as I'm sure people must still do it ?
  9. Mudpattern :Yes I understand why you have asked this question as my initial question was not very clear. We travel to another local club to us , and also the one where we live, the reason I asked about travelling about the country is on here a lot of members talk about travelling to various locations throughout the country and was wandering if people travelled with there boats?
  10. Hi we use a slightly bigger boat as there is two of us , If you want a good fairly simple to build sneak boat , Google west Mersea sneak boat which is where I'm from a chap who use to build them has plans and drawrings available on the Internet to build from ( don't know how to attach a photo of my boat)
  11. We have done a lot of this type of shooting and are well aware of the law, as advised by bascs wildfowling team. You can legally shoot wildfowl in a boat whilst drifting . You however are NOT allowed to persue wildfowl with any type of motorisation or be at anchor.inlongs you make a clear effort to show you are under drift .ie if you use a engine to get to creek you should the remove from water and put it on tilt.
  12. Just curious as to how many people use and dingy to shoot from or sneak boat? As me and my mate this season have been using our sneak boat to drift under the moon for the duck and geese Does any body travel around the country with there sneak boats to shoot there club marshes?
  13. Thanks all going to give it a bash tommorow and I shall see how it goes and let you all know
  14. Thanks for all replys lads , going to give it a go this weekend and just see how it goes , the land it's self is approx 80 acres plus a further 20 on the other side of the road so defnetly going to need a few guns to cover it properly but I will flag off the bits I'm not shooting near
