  1. Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums, and wanted to introduce myself. I've been target shooting before but not for a number of years, I am now hoping to apply for my FAC in a few months, and will now probably apply for the SGC at the same time. I would class myself as a target shooter atm, but I also want to pursue deer stalking. I am also very keen on the idea of rough shooting, and being able to bag the odd rabbit or pigeon for the pot as great appeal to me. I am much more familiar with rifles and haven't even shot a shotgun yet, but my club does practical shotgun as well as rifles, so I'm assuming it should be okay to apply on that basis. I'm not 100% set on what I am applying for but it is likely to be .22LR, .243 and the shotgun. I had planned to explore hunting after I get my tickets, but I'm not sure how feasible that is, a big part of the reason I'm here is that I could use some advise on this. Erika
