  1. Wheihrauch HW110 .177 and Silencer For Sale £650 Only one cylinder of air used from new. Just got back in to air rifles with my son but as he's only seven, I've purchased a new gun with adjustable stock. Excellent gun, no issues, puts pellet on pellet. Just not the right gun for me and my son at the moment. Scope not included but could be discussed. Currently have 3 scopes for sale. More pictures on request. 2. Thank you. I've found him on Facebook so hopefully get something sorted 👍👍
  3. I'll try to get in touch with Bob P. I've searched the web four hours and there doesn't seem to be anything out there at all like what I'm after. Surprises me really as it looks amazing on air arms and think it would look better on the HW110 with it being shorter.
  4. That's what I've been looking to do but ideally I'd like the S510 because I prefer the screw on silencer and side leaver. Thing is it works out around £450 to make the change which just seems a lot for not much difference other than adjustable stock.
  5. I'm looking for an adjustable tactical platform for my HW110. The pictures below are for and Air Arms but I'm looking for something very similar. Can anyone point me in the direction of some who makes or sells anything like this. I need the adjustment for the length of pull so that me and my lad can share the same gun.
  6. Looking for a very clean Air Arms. Stock marks aren't a problem as I'll be replacing but would like the metal work mint.
  7. I'm looking for a Browning B325 or Miroku 3800 to take the barrels and have them fitted to my Grade 6 325. I was curious to know if all the barrels were the same other than length. Has the choke system alway been invector and are the bore sizes all the same. Thanks in advance for any info you provide 👍 P. S Let me know if you have a Browning B325 or a Miroku 3800 for sale 30" or above. Email dannyev1984@gmail.com
  8. The site only allows me to put up 3 pictures. If you give me your email I'll send more to you. The stock has beautiful figure, I've not seen one like it before
  9. Now that's a surprise to see for me I was convinced the wads in mine were faulty after seeing the Express wad and with what someone said in the above posts. Seems they maybe just don't go well with my gun or choke set up at the moment.Maybe you get the same issue in your guns but still get enough pellets in the right area to do the job. Thanks for taking the time to take the pictures.
  10. If you wouldn't mind sacrificing a cartridge. It it would behelpful to see a wad from one of yours.
  11. It'll be interesting to see your results also the wads if you manage to retrieve any. I do now think that the wads are faulty like a guy mentioned somewhere above. Looking at the Express wad compared to the RC they're so similar in design other than the slits.
  12. Looks like I won't be using RC steel again. Seems they consider it ok to have shot left in the wad cup. Dear Daniel I have recieved the email below from RC for your information: “considering that one of the peculiarities of steel is that it slows down its speed already in short distances like 30-35 m and that therefore it causes dead or injured animals to be bloody, the velocity is consistently increased compared to lead shots (while remaining within the CIP safety regulations). These speeds combined with a very hard material, such as steel, stress more the plastic wad, which needs to have far different characteristics from a wad containing lead: - It must protect the gun barrel from steel pellets - It does not have the shock absorber, which can cushion the excessive compression of the pellets - Due to the law it must withstand -20 ° C, whilst a wad for lead does not endure a temperature inferior to -8 ° C without breaking This implies that the plastic with which the B&P wad we use for steel shots is made is “gummy” and that, if the cartridges are shot in warm temperatures (even 10-15° C), it might happen that pellets might get stuck in the wad cup and leave signs on the fins. Hope this is helpful to you”
  13. It's getting them around here. Maybe could order in. I was happy with the express supreme game yesterday, they performed well. In fact I wouldn't of known the difference between them and lead if no one told me.
  14. Bit of an update, well sort of. Today I used Rd to start with again getting pricked birds used half a box I had left in my box then moved over to to Express Supreme Game, what a difference lots of clean killls and plenty of good distance klills too. The most noticeable difference was the falling wads though. Express fall like little parachutes and the Rc are shot and lost into the distance. I got through 2 boxes of Express and then back to the RC. Again back to pricked birds. I have some pick of the wads from both Express and Rc now and it confirms what others said previously about wad slots.
  15. What's the difference between the 3 steel loads that Lyvale offer. I'm guessing speed with the high performance but what about the other two?
  16. Its very likely your right. I'd imagine the pattern is pretty poor though seen as its missing shot. I was out on Saturday and gave the cartridges another go. Aware of the issue now i kept an eye on the wads. No wonder i couldn't find many when i looked for them in the pattern when i found the problem originally. Most of the bloody things were traveling well over a 100yds.
  17. The longer range birds I hit were more of an experiment on the day, just to see if it was possible and to my surprise it was. I took 3 shots at birds crossing the back of my decoy pattern and two were clean kills the other I missed. It was the birds over the decoys I was pricking and my furthest decoy from the hide is always 40 paces/yards p
  18. I had a reply from the manufacturer today asking for some info. The gun used, batch number and the pictures I've taken. The woman that got in touch was from the UK but said she would contact the factory and get back to me. I contacted them through the RC website I'll keep everyone posted as to what they reply.
  19. I'll try the ported chokes see how i get on. Some of the pellets were so deeply crushed into the base of the wad that i couldn't even get them out. I've contacted RC so it'll be interesting to hear their response. Problems aside I was very impressed with some of the kills out at range. hope its a problem easily solved as they are good value for money here even by the box £5.67
  20. The other reason for the weight and size of shot is the lack of choice locally. Both my local shops supply the same load one in RC and the other express. Not that the birds I've shot are too damaged anyway and they are not for human consumption.
  21. I know it's a large load for pigeon but I'm trying to compensate for the lack of weight per pellet. I've been told to go two sizes bigger in steel to get what you'd usually be using in lead. You could say it's lack of accuracy because if they were hit in the head then they'd be killed but I'm guessing with shot left in the wad there will be holes in the patterns.I also like to think I'm an experienced shot and yesterday's pricked birds were out of the ordinary.
