  1. As many people on here know I was until recently a travelling fowler myself There were quite a few people that helped me out so now living more locally I feel if I can help somebody out (obviously without giving everything away) then I will

  2. Right then children I have shot the Ouse washes today I was about a mile downstream from Earith and my wash varied from 18 inches deep in places to dry in others There were very few shots from the Earith wash itself but there was a bit of shooting further downstream until the fog cleared then all activity dried up The water is now dropping quite quickly

  3. Off up for a morning & evening flight at Ladyhall for tomorrow so driving up tonight then a drive up to Fraserburgh on Sunday for a week of decoying can't wait as there's a few birds about 80,000 plus so if i do my bit i hope to have my first pink. Wish me luck.

Who you going with in Fraserburgh ?
  4. Driving home last night the moon and cloud combination looked absolutely spot on Anybody get out and have any success ? I'm still to shoot my first Pink under the moon but hoping I will be in a better position to achieve this when I move up to Lincolnshire next week

  5. Looking forward to them, don't really go out to shoot them but with the weather as it is, I think the sound of them will kick start the season and make it feel right.

Yes it doesn't feel like wildfowling season with this weather Hoping might get a few passing over the new house !
