  1. Cool thanks for info I'll check out ones I saw first as they are local so delivery should be quick if not I'll check out the others. I prefer local family type business personally, like to support the smaller business's
  2. Course mainly but maybe have a go at boat fishing some time
  3. Anyone know of any good cheap websites for buying tackle rods etc? I've been looking as my local shops shutting down end of this week. I found a couple www.reelbargain.co.uk looks good?? It's mainly NGT stuff. I used one of NGTs rods before which was pretty good but not tried any of their other stuff yet. Any ideas anyone???
  4. Cool just wanted to check that one before I went off as my FAO is quite hard to get hold of sometimes. Thanks guys
  5. Hi just a quick one, it's prob really obvious but on my fac I have 'land deemed suitable by the chief police officer..' on my rifles but not on my sect 1 shotgun, does this mean it's open and I'm not restricted on getting land authorised by FAO? Just says for shooting of birds in accordance with the gen license under provisions of the wildlife act 1981. ??
  6. Just for anyone looking at trying a new .22 round or anyone who wanted some info on these, as my usual .22 hp subsonics were all sold out and and been on back order for 2 months the guy in my local RFD said to try these. To start with I didn't need to re zero as they have the same trajectory as the CCI HP subsonics. I have womped a few bunnies with these now and my goodness they perform. Entry wounds from about 30-40 yards are devistating. I have had 1" to 1.5" holes from entry and every one has dropped on the spot apart from a couple of jumpers but they were not breathing when I got to them an still kicking so not going anywhere fast. In short if you want a good hunting round that drops faster than a HP I would recommend giving these a try they out performed my expectations and have had zero runners. Can't put pics up from mob but will try to get some up when laptops back from repair.
  7. I've been using cci hollow points as my 22 cycles well with them and I've not missed a shot with them but have had a couple that have limped off down a burrow a few feet away a couple of times and I really don't like that. But these segmented are an awesome little round I was amazed by just how much damage they inflict! Also they are pretty quiet till they hit something I found. I do get a little more noise off the normal hollow points than I do these
