I originally come from Russia and have now been here in the UK for 5 years (and 3 days) and am very much loving life here. Pretty new to Clay Shooting and keen to try all types of other shooting in time.
My husband, Dave_B, and I started with a "have a go" this time last year getting our SGC and Guns in October. Since then we have shot pretty much every weekend and in between where possible.
Our scores aren't great but we have a great time travelling around mixing it up between Lessons, Practice and Open/Registered Shoots. Our Local ground is E.J. Churchills but we also get out to Oxford Gun Company, Sporting Targets (Risley) and College Farm. We have done a few Registered shoots (ESP) at Churchills, Hornet, Four Counties and only this weekend got up to Grange Farm. If we don't make it to a registered shoot we hit one of our many local Sunday shoots, these include Prestwood (Flackwell Heath), Valley View (Gt Missenden), Crazy Bear (Stadhampton), Greenfield (Oxford) and Stag & Hounds (Gerrards Cross).
We have just signed up for the South on the Charity Shoot so look forward to meeting a few of you next weekend at Grange Farm. (We won't challenge for any prizes but are looking forward to the shoot).
