  1. Received a set of these yesterday and they are brilliant for quick adjustment. Seem like really good quality but will update when they have been on a while https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155405803834?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=yhkxrjhztb6&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=yhkxrjhztb6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY might be good if there was a glow in the dark version
  2. I had a roll left over but it was in a different colour (grey) however I prefer heating that on than using the tiles for the hips as I have found with the tiles you can end up with too many joints and they can crack as you bend them
  3. Added metal shelving storage today (Ignore the **** already on there) And completed the splash back (aluminium composite, stainless effect), upstands, electrics and work light
  4. That’s what’s the space under the counter is for 😉
  5. Yes insulated and going to get a couple of oil radiators on timers hopefully for a little regular heat
  6. The space was exactly that. Not big enough to park a car, but not worth leaving and mowing etc.. will be nice to get it all done before we start the season again. Get new (second hand) freezer tomorrow
  7. Love this!! When I have the space this will be the first thing I build!
  8. Decided earlier this year to use a bit of dead space we had to the side of the garage and turn it into a shooting storage shed/garage game prep area. Mainly because all my shooting bits were getting ruined in the garage from welding spots/grinding, and the wife was sick of me bringing in birds that I had to wash the grease/oil off of after preparing them. Has been slow going, but lockdown allowed me a bit more time. Not quite complete but getting there now Will add a few more pictures and updates as I go, but here is the bulk of it Anyone else have a similar area/set up? Before The start - timber frame and moved the existing cladding to the outside Clad the outside walls and roof, Roof filing going on Decided to try and hide the door a little so not as obvious and to help it blend in - (door is the right hand half with a concealed lock) Managed to get some waney edge board that was a good match to existing, but was still a bit of a jigsaw puzzle Started on the inside - kitchen that came from the in-laws rip out . I don’t have running water, so using a 12v caravan tap and pump, and a 25 litre water container which will be going in soon Floor painted 2 coats concrete floor paint and wardrobe installed for storage of clothing. (stolen from one of my kids bedrooms) Planing to separate it in the middle and have a tube heater in one half to dry clothes (with some vents) LED batton lights in - going to add another one I think Just got this sorted for the space next to the wardrobe. Fold up seat for shoe storage Got it locally, sanded down and going to oil it before it goes in Doing more on it this weekend so hopefully will have some finished picture soon

    Game bag

Looking for a game bag. Don't mind a bit of wear but would prefer didn't have rips and holes. Anything considered. Thanks
  10. I am looking at doing exactly the same and the radio backpack frame is a great idea!! How did you attach it, and the bags to the container?
  11. Looking at booking up some duck shooting for September and have come across a company called SGL Sporting on Guns on pegs and wanted to know if anybody had used them before? Prices are around 220 - 260 per gun for a 7 gun, 100 bird day. Have typed their name into Google but not a lot has come up so if anybody has any info/reviews I would really appreciate it.
  12. Thought I would post to tell everyone about a very good experience with beds police. Send my variation form, and letter to open up my licence on Tuesday. Sent it recorded delivery. Checked and it arrived on Wednesday at 12.15. At 3.45 the firearms officer called to ask a few questions and say everything was ok. Licence arrived through the door today!!! (Friday) I checked the date on the envelope and it had been posted out to me the same day they recieved it! (2nd class) Couldn't have received a better and more efficient and helpful service!!! Bravo Beds!!!
  13. I think if I don't go for the fixed mag I will defiantly go for this!! Didn't realisr there were such good deals on sportsman!
  14. Would be out to around 200 yards, and nearly always at night. I was leaning towards the Schmidt and bender 8 x 56, but I can't decide if I would miss the variable zoom???
  15. I know this item will have probably been covered 100 times before, but what is everyone's opinion on the best scope for a .223? I am going to be treating myself to one in the next month or so hopefully (finger crossed on FAC coming back open and with variation) and will be using it solely for foxes.
  16. Ours is going to be a house dog aswell so I am really looking forward to seeing how it all goes. How did his first day go? Yeh I am only going to start with the very basics until at least 6 months. I have been trying to read up and learn as much as possible, however I have a feeling I am going to be looking for a lot of advice Thank you for the advice. I am very keen not to let her get too independent so that she will always be keen to work
  17. Yesterday we (very excitedly) went and agreed to buy our first Gundog. We have chosen a beautiful chocolate cocker spaniel bitch from a lady locally, and just wanted to share a couple of pictures. I plan to work her on the small syndicate I am a part of, and also for pigeon and rabbit shooting. I am going to train her myself, so have spent the last few weeks reading every book I can, and watching every DVD anybody will lend me. Pick her up in mid august at 8 weeks and can't wait to get her here now!
  18. I have had this with a lambert I have had previously. I don't know what the problem was as I took it back to the shop I purchased it from and they exchanged it for another gun. I think it is quite common, especially with the sporter version
  19. Thanks for the info JonathanL, very informative and interesting
  20. Does anybody know if there are any full bore ranges at all near Milton Keynes, not just open tomorrow?
  21. This was exactly my thoughts, how would anybody know that it had been shortened?
