if you use tps wads don't go 44 grain the pressure is high,i used 46gr with a sam1 wad but dropped to 42gr with a tps

amazing how quick the end of the season comes round,im surposed to be going to scotland for the last week but unsure now,reports are far to many people and shooting at everything that comes off regardless of height.why do geese have this affect on people.i cant believe they are complete w####rs all the time,or are they?

well got back abou an hour ago,good week as always.good laugh with the lads and far to much beer and late nights.
tough week as the winds were mad,we had every weather pattern possible every day!!
we managed a few geese between us but as i thought a lot of the geese just went inland to the lochs.towards the end of the week they started to build back up but not in there usual numbers.
oxf there should be plenty to chase by the time you get there,most are using the crook end of the bay,but are getting done inland most days so they will start to spread out a bit more soon.loads of barnys there,but easy enough to pick out even when mixed in with the pinks.
have a good time,let us no how you got on.

going to wigtown bay,only worry is wind is to strong and they sod off inland to a loch rather than returning to the mud at night.
but thats wildfowling,you pays your money and takes your chance.
id rather have a bad time shooting than the best day at work any day

whatever the truth is between clubs/organisations,hope you all get what you wish for in the end
on a personal note,hope all real fowlers out there have a good season,as for me im off to scotland tommorrow for 10 days playing on the marsh with the geese

99.9% sure everyone is correct about sugar levels being the cause but has anything else changed in his routine recently.has he been on any anti biotics or meds? just a thought,my glp collapse on me late afternoon a few years ago after anti biotics in the morning.she had a funny reaction to them,cant use certain meds anymore

bit of a long shot but does anybody have access to feral or ex racing pigeons or have to many pigeons in there own lofts.im after some for dog training with my hpr's.just to make it an even longer shot needs to be with in reasonable distance of rugby.
