Hi all Questions for you Anschutz owners past and present or anyone else for that matter Q1. I'm looking for a 10 shot mag to fit my Annie 1451 anyone no of a cheap replacement? New, Second hand or Modified.. Q2. How many here are looking for the same thing ? Q3, Are they hard to find Second hand?

Hi All Well a bit of an update i went a looking for a second hand 22 cz checked just about every web site going that sells 2nd hand rifles anywhere from £300 to £450 with all the bits on scope mod etc... Been the Yorkshireman i am i was looking for a bargain. i fell across another forum (while looking for the cz) with a thread about magazine clips and whether there was universal ones and for what rifles. there was a bit on the Anschutz 22lr that got me thinking well i decide i would see how much difference ££££ wise well you guessed it i bought a second hand Anschutz 1451 with one 5 shot mag scopes and mod for the pricey sum of well that would be telling OK i bought 600 rounds as well and the total was £210 i also ordered 2x 10 shot mags for £34 off the net OK they wont say Anschutz on the mag but the rabbits don't no only been out to scope it in Cueball it took about 8 weeks from flo visit had my visit the week in between Christmas and New year and it was on the mat on the 20th feb my sgc took over a year ....why i don't no.

fac granted and landed on the mat am i a happy bunny excuse the pun ....... best start looking im thinking in the on a cz 22lr anyone got any opinions on choice of 22 rimfire im still not sure were i should have started this thread its on the wrong bit of the site but there must be some advantage of been on moderator queue you can put it in the right bit if you want or tell me were i should have put it

as he stated his good friend has the local area covered im assuming were talking a biggish area .(so his good friend cant shoot everywhere) as for any of my good friends and i mean mates that i take shooting on my perm they are more then welcome to ask the farmer if they can have permission to shoot it too (they dont have to ask me why would they im not there keeper im there mate supposedly ) the farmer gives the permission not the one who is already privileged to shoot ( i it think theres to much of this get off my land i shoot it lark you want that then you got to own the land buy the farm if it was like that then none of us would be shooting.) i shoot a lot of the same land what my mates shoot and people i dont no ( should they have had to ask me ?) i do not own the land i shoot on i was given the privilege of been able to shoot it because i knocked the doors and asked the farmer like everyone else has to do (well most) be it a mate or a stranger as in someone you dont personally no im sure id sooner no the guy/girl shooting the land i shoot that way there can be a bit of coordination and some healthy competition ..

Hi my 2 pennyworth would be keep knocking on the farmers doors ive knocked on that many ive lost count over the last 6 years or so.. writing to them never seems to work i was on my way to a lawn mower place with my mate yesterday and were he wanted to be was close by a farm. while he went to sort out his stuff he had to do i had a look at at the fields i seen one rape field was getting hit by a few pigeons so when my mate was done in the mower shop i got him to drive down to the farm were i seen the pigeons knocked the farmers door introduced my self then said i seen he had a problem with pigeons on the rape field near the mower place. i offered to try and cull the numbers for him and he so kindly said Yes i thanked him very much and we exchanged mobile numbers and i said i would be there the next day.. that's today so as i type im losing valuable pigeon shooting time.... put the effort in and knock some doors WORST THEY CAN SAY IS NO !!!! and your mate must have more land then he can shoot so knock on the same doors he has the farmer gives the shooting permission not ya mate

got up today and over a cuppa tea i decided to go for a walk round some of my permission later in the day. more to see how boggy it was then anything im like the pigeons dont like to get my feet to muddy i was in two minds to take the sg or not as i didnt expect to see much about and it was more of a recc mission as ive not shot on there for some time as it has barley in it but theres a few bunnies on there and i dont mind a bit ferreting with the sg so thought i would go see took the gun left the ferret at home well when i got there and started to walk the field i must have seen 10 15 rabbits doing the mating chase round the field towards the bottom end of the field theres a wooded part so i thought i would walk down and see if there was any pigeons in the trees (normal haunt for them when its peas , beans or rape in the field) i wasnt expecting to see any pigeons so i was watching the rabbits as they wasn't bothered i was there mind you they wasnt in range of the sg after walking the wood for a little i heard that unmistakeable sound of pigeons taking flight but i was watching the rabbits looking the other way i wouldn't like to say how many there must have been but im happy to say i got 2 from the 3 shots i had and frightened 15 rabbits back in to the burrows. so i got myself tucked back up in the woods to see if any pigeons would return spent the next hour just waiting then it started they were coming back in groups but very tentatively and landing just out of range well most of them. i ended up with 7 from 11 shots very pleasant couple of hours or so some times the bests days are spare of the moment

yes you could get it to work to capture your shooting exploits but you will need some other bits to

lol no mate just a funny story so i thought... they came towards me i couldn't have seen them if they had gone in were they did in the first place i didnt no they were that close till i looked over .and no im tea total

i was out a few day ago all set up in the hide on the edge of a wood when to my surprise a load (about 9 or 10 ) joggers came out of the wood and down the farm track leading to the gate and the road. i watched as the came out the wood and down the track then 2 peeled off and started to jog towards me they stopped and proceeded to enter the edge of the wood and i lost sight of them so after about a minuet or 2 i decided to look to were they had gone and to my surprise i caught the first one pulling her draws up while the 2nd one kept watch then they changed places by this time i averted my eyes they was less then 40 yards away and didn't see me... (so i think my hide configuration works) that was as close as i got to a left and a right that day....
