Hi, Newbie here, in both shooting and PW forums. It's my first time, so please be Gentle!
I'm from a small village near Llangollen, in North Wales.
I have only been into shooting for about 2.5 yrs, after starting on air rifles. But I have now been properly bitten by the bug!!
Got into fieldsports after getting my first spaniel, Mac, and training him myself. That led me into beating which led me into shooting and fieldsports. Probably the wrong way around but it seems to be ok so far!!

Recently had my SC through and hopefully getting my first 12g this week, thanks to this forum!!! Wahoo to PW and gun watch!! Good job guys!
With regards to my shotgun application, I had a very good experience with the application process. North Wales police seemed to be on top of their game and all went very smooth, about 4-5 wks start to finish! I hope other newbies have had a positive experience from their friendly neighbour-hood fire arms officer?!
