  2. The BBC food guide, on the net have a cracking recipe. If you can make the batter and leave it to stand for a hour or so before you pour it in it works a treat.

Precook the sausages for around 15 min, pour it in and don't open the door until 25-30 minutes later when it's done (if you do you'll lose the heat from the oven and it'll collapse).

  3. Boxed .243 dies

I brought these a couple of weeks back off this site.

My friends set up is a Lee system so I’ve brought a set of Lee die’s compatible with his press.

They look in tip top condition.

    £40 posted.

  4. Did you get some wheels sorted for your Mitsubishi ?.

I’ve got 4 BFGoodrich AT’s ( probably half worn) on steel 16 inch 5 stud rims.

I can get the exact size tomorrow but I brought them as a back up for my Hilux. I’d like £30-40 per tyre & rim.

    Also in Leiston.

  5. I've found that higher the zoom equals less clarity on the picture on mine. I zeroed mine the other day at 8x mag and rolled it back to 6x mag for better clarity for shooting with. I assume you've been using the freeze frame option when zeroing/. I felt using it help with the quality of picture to see the point of impact.

Out of interest how have you found the supplied IR torch that comes with it ?. I'm now on my second one, which again has packed up after just a couple of outings.

  7. Wooden gun case.
Home made, although not by me. Looks to be hardwood and then veneered ( as some has chipped off). This came with an old Damascus s/s from my late uncle which I have handed in.
Internals are green baze, looks like old snooker table cloth.

All solid, but come probably do with a rub down and re varnish /stain and as stated the veneers are chipped on a couple of corners

    Dimension : 820 L, 335 W, 110 D

    £25

  8. I have recently brought a wildcat evo to use on my .243, as it moderator is modular it can be taken apart.

looking at the mod and with the reviews on YouTube it suggests that if you have another rifle with a different thread or caliber you simply buy another bridge unit and insert to use in the existing unit.

I have a .17 hmr which is 1/2” unf which I currently have a small moderator for but I’m keen to use the evo.

The question I have is what’s is the implications of buying a bridge and .17 insert, does this require a variation ?. Also as I already have a .17 moderator would I have to dispose / sell the one I have before I purchase the bits for the evo.

    Thanks in advance

  9. Have you got anyone with access to or can buy Panacur sheep wormer?. It's nearly the same active wormer ingredient as the medicated food.

I use 1ml per bird in a day drinking water then re dose around 10 -12 days later to catch any worm eggs that have developed within that period. I personally think you can see the difference after you've dosed them, they  just seem brighter.

Medicated pellets are good though if you have a case of gaps, they ensure most /all birds get a dose of the wormer.

  11. In a nut shell I would say yes. I took mine last September through the NGO with no stalking experience and found it very informative, species, cycles, patterns and what to look for in the gralloch.  The course training material was clear and ran in parallel with the classroom stuff.

In addition I signed up to a 1 month DSC 1 training package with the BDS, which was about £10. This helped me personally cement the knowledge and gave one an outlook on what to expect in the examinations. Although useful for me I wouldn't say this is essential for more experience individuals.

I couldn't comment if it helped with my subsequent variation for a .243 but it came through.
