Wetley Rocks mate near Leek.

Ive been looking for land for a while now to which ive had no joy what so ever, so ive decided to join NPPC. Was reading through the rules the other day and realised you have to be 17 or over to shoot unaccompanied. I'm 16... Ive tried to persuade the majority of my family to join but being as non of them shoot, they were not exactly keen... I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to let me tag along for a session with them once i join? I am reliable and willing to learn, have all my own equipment and fully insured ect ect. I feel really cheeky and embarrassed to ask but it is really my last resort. Thanks Ross...

Hi everyone, Just about to join NPPC, and was wondering how far the closest land is from Stoke, as i will be depending on my Dad to give me a lift to the land as i cannot drive yet... Cheers Ross..

Got talking to the butcher today at work who knew I had been looking for a shoot, and he's managed to secure me a 40 acre woodpigeon shoot out on his mates farm... Apparently they are causing a right issue and over run in the fields so he is pleased someone will sort them out for him.. Chuffed to bits to say the least, just got to wait patiently for SGC to come through now.... B)

Thanks for all the advice I will keep asking anyway and get some letters posted to the more distant farms tomorrow, and go to a few more that I haven't already visited and deliver the letter in person, and try pins idea and see if I can get anywhere that way..... Put on a shirt and trousers today and went around some farms in my area, got the same 2 answers from all 9 farms- 'Someone already shoots here' or 'We havent got anything that needs shooting'...(Whilst im looking over at the field full of rooks ... ) I dont know whether im right, but im only 15 and I think this was putting people off, even though I did produce all the insurance documents and business cards, do you think this is the case? Will be out again one night this week and see if I can sort any permission then... Thanks Ross....

Police approved gun safe wanted. Im in stoke on trent area so the closer the better really, can collect. Needs to be big enough for 3 or 4 guns... Cash waiting... Thanks Ross..
