I was out scouting last night for tonight's session and for the 3rd season running have seen a white goose in with the greylags .very beautiful bird.must be from a park or domestic pond possibly .anyone else seen any different species off late .??

Went out into mudflats for some mallard last night.most I have seen for a few years .to my surprise .there seems to be an awful lot of early wigeon arrived .got a nice rightward left at them and two drake mallard followed them into my back .about 5/600 geese came in from stubble but to my disappointed stopped about 150 yards short of me .always a next time as they say.season for me is off with a Big Bang Ps sorry for the spelling this bloody auto spell is not good

Topped a fine day off on the foreshore for evening flight of 5 canadas.my brother shot his first Canada also

Inland for me too due to work commitments .17 greylags.decoys worked well.all in process of getting made into burgers

Cause I'm lucky to have shooting on feilds ,but on the foreshore it's being a waste of time .thats why !!!!!and for the record I don t class shooting over stubble/grass or potatoe feilds as wildfowling duno about you guys ??

not any of that bays but yeah ure right there to shakin Stevens .all some people have in there mind is pulling the trigger all the time and miss the bigger picture .

You are missing the point .they come up north .walk out In Front of other guns .fire ridiculous shots at super high birds .and spook all birds.leave a week later for all the local guns to be left with nothing there. So if you are welcoming that on to ure foreshore you need a reality check

That's me on to 37 geese for the year .believe it or not and that's with have to put up with Geordies and all the English arriving in there transit vans

This forums makes me laugh with the stories that comes up..I've shot plenty geese with 6s clean kill .the problem you might have is you guys think your using cannons when shooting geese at ridiculous heights !

I wish all these English guns would stop coming up to the north of Scotland shooting geese at ridiculous heights and ruining the flights for all local guns .basicaly **** off....rant over
