  1. Here is a neat box from Western. These are blank shells that are used in field trials and training for your hunting dog. They are blanks that have a pop like a live load. In North America we call these popper loads. The red shell in the picture is a Western Popper.
  2. Here is one used at the 1963 GRAND championships. Another Dominion Canuck shell. And this was used at the Canadian trap championship. also from 1960's Again a canuck shell.
  3. Probably not many of these were made. Used at the 1962 world skeet championship.
  4. l was thinking that was strange as well, however the sidewall does say 'loaded with Rottweil Powder' and 'Nobel - Nurnberg'. I'm assuming it was for export?
  5. For some reason, Kynochs an Eleys are still my favorite. Here is a Beaux from Italy Ad Jansen from Belgium and a Trent from Great Britain.
  6. Here are a few Rottweil shells I found Here is an Alcan from Italy Here is a Lepco shell from Belgium. Here is a Pawam from Poland
  7. Here are a few Hellis rounds I pulled out the other day.
  8. That is a nice sign! Neat that they are advertising their guns on a shell box. That is a nice box.
  9. This shell was designated as a factory second by quality control, as there was a slight deformity to the top brass. I'm told that unlike other ammunition manufacturers, Dominion did not sell these on the market as seconds. Instead they were labeled as seconds (marked with a black band) and were given out only to employees for self use if the shells were deemed safe. I received about 10 of these from a former Dominion employee. This shells was manufactured in 1949.
  10. Imperials were always intended to be 'royal purple'. Look closer.
  11. Time for some fun. This is a very interesting Dominion Imperial 16 Ga shell. They usually didn't have a black band on them, but this one does. Do you know what that represented? Look close at the pictures and you may figure it out . I'll share a little later if nobody knows.
