Recently I've got fed up of going to different sites and having targetted advertising directed at me.
The last straw was yesterday when I googled a make of car for a friend to look at the reviews and then the next 3 websites I went to showed me that make of car in its ads.
So if you dont want big brother tracking you, you can take the following advice as to what browser you use:
I have followed the steps and I no longer see any ads let alone having targetted ones.
The blockers actually show you what is trying to track you at each site you go to and its astounding.

Ermmmm...... ATOS and g4 have had over two billion from the public purse now
Teresa May's husband has significant involvement with G4
My daughter is chronically ill with an incurable disease. In July last year we received a letter from the DWP saying she was fine and we no longer need any help. So off to tribunal we went and surprise surprise it was overturned.
Disabled people need support with their illness. Life is stressful enough for them and their families without having to go through the intimidating rigmoral of preparing a case and being interviewed by 3 judges in a courtroom.
The stress of it all would have stopped a lot of people going to tribunal and the government then gets to save a couple of quid. I went to the CAB who sent a representative with me and helped us prepare.
Shocking that money comes first over people and quality of life in this modern civilised society.

Happens all the time.
Another nail in the coffin for our communities along with all those other things that have destroyed it for a quick profit . Cheap foreign labour, over development of multi occupancy premises etc.

Is it possible that the older guns exceed todays 12lbs / 6lbs limits as they were around before the limits were imposed?
And if so is that a modification that you then have to make or do you pout them on ticket?

Raises the point of where do you keep your spare set.

Dorset contacted my doctor on my last renewal 2 weeks ago.
I was told at the end of my interview with the FEO that everything was fine as long as my DR didnt raise any concerns. Its standard practice here rightly or wrongly.
However what it does do is make the owner of firearms realise that they can no longer confide in their DR (should they need help) if they want to keep their guns.

There is no way in a million years I would contact the police about the discovery of an unregistered gun. There are cases where entirely innocent people have been prosecuted for unlawful possession in those circumstances. Unless you get a sensible copper, you can end up in trouble, as most police over-react to anything to do with firearms. Dump it on an RFD and pay his handling charge for disposal or registration and back on the market. It may have to be checked for previous involvement in a crime--in which case the finder may have to make a statement--but having submitted it to an RFD, at least it isn't in your possession.********************************************************
There's currently a case going on at the moment where a guy found a sawn off in his back garden (thrown over the fence that backs onto a common) . He took it down the police station and they are trying to prosecute him.
RFD is the route to go, They quite often accept things anonymously.

Yep, dispatching something in town, cover your backside and call. But in the middle of nowhere, unless the landowner/gamekeeper insists, not much point.
