I would check with your intended carrier if they allow postage of an explosive certainly Royal Mail/Parcelforce do not.

These powders aren't explosive as they are "propellants".

Black powder and Hodgdon Triple Seven would be classed as explosive and those need to be sent via an RFD.

  2. It would be unlikely to go to court, your speed is only 1mph over the "10% +2" threshold.  I wouldn't bother asking them to clarify anything about the symantecs, that is just proving your guilt.  This isn't a parking ticket or similar offence judged under maritime law but a criminal offence, so a spelling mistake around the legal-fiction of your legal name isn't going to change the outcome.

However you could always ask them to provide a photo so that you assist with identifying who was driving the vehicle at the time.  You can take the chances and ask for it to go to court hoping that the Police don't see it as worth their time and fail to show up.  It is them that have to prove your guilt and there are potentially many loop-holes to get out of it (was the detector calibrated and was there a witness/2nd PC at the scene?),  however it is likely to get very expensive if you fail and the judge sees that you are just looking to get away with it.

Personally, I wouldn't admit to the speeding offence but would tell them that I am the "legal owner" of the vehicle and ask them to provide photographic evidence to judge their response.

If they offer a speed-awareness course take it and consider yourself lucky.

  6. Hello all,

I am selling the stock and magazine of my Tikka T3x SuperVarmint, as I have fitted the action to a precision chasis now.  This stock is for the standard action size of Tikka (T3 and) T3x receivers with short action calibres.  I don't know if this will fit the CTR version.   The stock is about 18 months old and is mostly very good condition but there are some faint usage marks (see picture around the vacinity of the bolt).  The stock has adjustable cheek rest, thick recoil pad, trigger guard and recoil lug fitted.  It has the two holding bolts for connecting the action to the stock.

1x Magazine is for .223 cartridges and is in excellent condition.

Bipod is included as it is fitted.  It is a Harris bipod and it is marked up as Harris1A2 Ultralight USA, legs are 6"-9" in length.

Please do not ask me to split these as I will sell all the items together (unless the full asking price is offered).

Buyer may collect from West Midlands, or postage will be £15.  The item is located not too far from the M5 motorway between junctions 3 & 4.

Looking for £160 if collected or £175 delivered.
