What about a tape recording etc. of dogs barking played on a loop.

I actually considered this, regardless of if some may laugh. Also the comment above about liability if the dog bites an intruder is doubtless quite right though it does raise the question these days of exactly what yolu can do to deter criminals, the law seems to be in their favour too much of the time

  2. I've more clothes than I need and this decent quality Tradition vest had the tags off worn once in the summer for an hour and back in wardrobe. Maybe a small but you need to be 40 chest or even a tad bigger 22 quid delivered

    Forgot the pic, adding now.

  3. An unusual topic i'm sure, but I'm probably going to be watching over and occupying a newly purchased large property where there has been considerable squatter occupancy and theft of some content (bathrooms suite, carpet, toilet...and so on) of late (it is semi derelict). I own a couple of terriers but would prefer a visual and audible deterrent presence, ie a sizeable dog for about a  month tops whilst the place is made properly secure. It appears that for the fairly obvious reasons trying to hire a security type dog without a handler is out of the question, has anyone heard of or experienced any other options at all. I can't own a third dog, at present

  4. Its a tangent I know, but possibly heating your core with the right stuff will help matters, too. In colder conditions I take just a pinch of cayenne pepper in hot water with maybe some ginger chunks and immediately you feel the difference. Apparently it can help unclog your arteries as well, whats not to like

  5. They may have literally just changed policy criteria, but that in turn probably did me a favour. Have now been quoted by NFU, full comp, breakdown cover and 15k miles aloowed per annum for approx 460. Superstars, i'll be sticking with them from now on. Too many of these companies are probably using the same underwriters but whacking crazy amounts on top, totally unethical really

Surprised they covered your vehicle, I've just rung them and they can't apparently cover commercials over 15 years?

  8. The UK media seems to have a general blackout on the situation in Europe - there have been extensive protests in France, Belgium, Holland, Romania, to name a few and now beginning also in Ireland. If I go on BBC World news online- nothing. Why is this? You would think a major convoy of tractors decending on Brussels would be newsworthy

so which side of the fence are you're on then?

personally i think it's a tax scam.the world goes through natural cycles which can be proved geologically and 10000 years since when i could have been skiing on 1500 mtrs of ice above my house or swimming in a tropical sea a couple of million years before that.

    etc,etc,etc

    who was responsible then?

This, exactly. I am relived to see at least on here so many of like minded philosophy. Problem is, it will become a lot worse than a mere tax scam, in a fairly short time frame. Once the WHO's new pandemic treaty comes into play in May this year (unless it is scuppered which is looking unlikely), if Guiterrez and his cronies decide we have a climate emergency overnight, they can if they wish make economically  and socially crippling restraints with immediate effect (lockdowns, restriction of movement), unchallenged by any individual UN country's government. Tangent and rant over....I also wear shemaghs, they are brilliant bits of kit
