Yes, I've been with Upland Journal for a few years now. As for what is included in my "upland" group, it's basically pheasant and grouse. On the preserves that we can hunt, you can hunt quail and chukar also, though most of us just focus on the pheasants. During dog training activities we use the piegoens, quail and chukar alot. To my knowledge, there is no real pigeon "hunting" done in this area. In fact, in New Jersey, pigeons are protected and can't be used for training either. Where I live in PA they can be used for training.
I've hunted doves, though I can't get real excited about it, other than it is the start of our bird season. The weather is usually still too warm for me when dove season opens. I've never hunted crows - is that something that you take part in your area? How is it done?
