what does everyone think about American gun laws

yes people have been killed but you will never know how many would have been killed if the ban was not put in place. imagine the massacre if everyone could get there hands on a gun and ammo with no difficulty. -

but if u were to shoot someone in defence and kill them surely you would get put in prison? if no one was to carry guns in the first place others would not be tempted to. -
just thought i would get a discussion going. personally i think American gun laws (or seemingly complete absence of them) are way to loose. everyone in this forum may think it would be cool to own a couple of pistols and machine guns but surely everyone would agree that they are not really necessary (i can see a use for pistols for defence against bears or something a good idea in the US but not here). The main point however has to be that almost anyone can buy themselves a gun in America. Id prefer our gun laws than theres to be honest.

i like the le chameau range, hunters are renowned for giving you cold feet i thought, maybe not with the more expensive ones. also aigle make some nice boots

"quick get the paint out!" my favourite out of everyone elses so far is "shall i start digging" some great replies though, and great pic

it depends what cartridges you are using for range, i would say range isn't the issue it is more the spread. as for recoil that depends quite a bit on type and weight of gun. If you are an adult new to the sport i would go for a 12 but if you are younger or want something new, lighter and bit more challenging consider a 20. thats my view and i am no expert however

I don't mind buying a second hand gun. I will use it for game. over and under for definate. i was looking at the lanber range as well as the silver pigeon (expensive) but i'm open to ideas because i don't want to spend much. under £600 would be good cheers

thought i'd get my spinner out and try and catch a pike, i would fish in a small to medium sized fastish flowing river. Not sure how deep it is. i would prefer use spinners or something and not floats, what do you suggest??? also do i need a metal line end or is that just suggested??

title says it all needs to be lightish and have clip / screw on filters for small bore rifles, rabbits and foxes

something to get the foxs in, nothing electronic looking at WAM is that the best option??
