Never used cold game, I have been using resently shot game.

  2. Hi to all

Hoping for a little advice on retrieving .

My springer will pick up then drop the prey I have shot .

I will be wrapping a dummy in fur and feather in time

Balls , sticks ect to the hand all day long no prob.

He is 15 months old works to whistle , voice and hand commands .

    Sit

    Stay

    lay down

    fetch

    right and left

stop whistle . still working on this one

He also indicates on squirrels up the tree ,he is a very excitable boy who loves to get there before he has left

One leg poised with anticipation, body trembling

I have stoped with the balls ect ,now trying to stick to shot prey only ,until I can sort out the dummys

    Is this a good thing

    Cheers

not that it can matter sometimes.

you never know what to do for the best sometimes with woodies.

    GOOD SHOOTING.

  6. When shooting magpies, do you recommend that I leave the dead ones out or should they be collected in asap? I have been asked to shoot an area that attracts magpies early in the morning and was just wondering whether leaving them out would act as a magnet to the others in the flock or whether it would scare them away?

try a dead rabbit .to decoy the maggies in
