  1. Why not give it to the guy's that require it most (British Army sounds good), as your mate has acted illegally by offering it for sale if it is British Army issue. There are occasions when British Soldiers get killed through lack of this type of equipment and to offer it for sale is an insult to their professionalism.
  2. Have you any pictures and your approx. location?
  3. Hi all. Nice to get on my PC again. I have seen a few posts talking about insurance. Now being a little bit of a novice at being a gun owner, is it advisable to take out insurance to cover my gun and third parties? Ini.
  4. Thanks for the invite. I have now purchased the gun, bought some cartridges, a cleaning kit and took it for a try out. Great, no bruises, fits like a glove. As you rightly say, nerves do play a big part and have just about got into the swing of it now(especialy on the skeet shoot). Just need more practice when I can find some cheap cartridges. Not much discount by quantity is there? Regards Inis.
  5. Hi, Thanks for the welcome guys and maybe gals. Have now recieved my licence and have had two trips out clay shooting. Was not impressed by the bruised shoulder, but have been informed I will get the hang of that. I think I have excelled on the time taken from Licence application to receipt. Can anyone top 1 month? Have picked out a S/H gun so I hope this will help. The gun I have chosen is a Browning 325 G1 30" M/C. Would appreciate some feedback on that gun. Inis.
  6. Hi all. New member and new shooter at 57. I am looking forward to this new experience and am awaiting my licence with anticipation. Inis.
