  1. It will be steel I would be using but thanks for the info ...Or if I resort to rifle...soild lead projectiles are withing legistaltion ..pellets/bullet
  2. Just double checking on something . I have been asked to shoot some Canada geese on a pond at a farm I have a unit at. The farm is now a livery yards of about 100 acres surrounded by a crops farm (the other farmer is happy to as they graze his feilds ) . Geese are proving a nuisance both to horses and more to the owners concern his large private fishing pond is being destroyed by them with both pollution from the muck and grazing .They freak the horses out for whatever reason. He is reluctant to kill them but has tried other methods and they have failed..(shooing,decoys..disturbance) . So now he came and asked me...Are we withing guidelines to shoot said geese..no young involved all adult ..26 in total now live there..he wants about 2/3rds shot . So is this acceptable under the general licence .
  3. Cheers ..I will paint the barrel in a differnt location to the action and the internals are kept in the safe..I guess reading that ..that is suficient precaution as no one can steal a whole gun
  4. So haven't started yet but I am stripping and re-painting/hydro dipping a semi auto shotgun just for the hell of it. Whilst its being done certain parts will be removed and the gun will be split into stock, action, forestock and barrel. What would be the law about storage. Problem I have is it will have to hang to dry at points and wont be able to be stored in a gun safe possible for up to a week . Some parts may even need to be left in my workshop overnight whilest they are drying and being washed or polished . The internal parts like the piston, spring etc ain't with the gun at all. Only myself doing the work and no one else has access to the workshop
