looking at buying a Mossberg pump action. Does anyone know if they are steel proofed - seller has been very open to say he has had mixed advice on this question. Barrel states Accu-Choked and some say that this means they are Steel proofed

Future proofed with HP Steel fleur-de-lis stamp 2x flush fitting chokes - imprived modified (2 notches) and modified (3 notches) 28 inch barrels and 14 3/4 inch stock. A great all round gun - light weight but with a firm steady feel and comfortable pistol grip. Regrettably selling my AYA Yeoman as the wife says I have to sell 1 to buy a new one. 🤨 The gun was made in 1977 and comes with its original certificate (if you speak Spanish). It is in excellent condition with tight action, unmarked and immaculately clean barrels, retaining its colour hardening to the action and has virtually no marks on the stock. These guns are bombproof and will be shooting without any problems long after I am gone. 12g, 2 3/4 cylinder, 28" barrels. Double trigger with Safety switch.
