Limbo

Thanks for all the hints and tips. I'm just outside of Haslemere (which is in Surrey) but fall within West Sussex. Bisley is only 30 mins away so I can pretty much have any gun I want as long as shoot on their ranges.....Could be expensive though!!! Looked at a Bushnell scope today...seemed pretty good. It's a real minefield though!!

Hi everyone. I've been lurking on here for a while now and finally thought I'd post. I recieved my FAC a few weeks back (took two months from West Sussex) and have been busy spending money. I've been granted .22, 7.62mm, 7.92mm, .303 and .308. I shoot at Bisley so I mainly do target shooting and clays too. I currently own a Beretta 686e, a Lee Enfield No.4 Mk1, Mauser K98 (shortly) and I'm now in the market for a .22. After reading loads of posts on here and other sites and also looking at my bank account I have decided to go for a CZ (I like the Silhouette). I am waiting for my permissions to come through on some land and will be doing some bunny bashing with it. However, I will probably use it more for target shooting (I go to Bisley most weekends) and will use it on the indoor range (50m) when the weather is too grim on the outside ranges or on the 100m, 200m and 300m when it's possible. Finally I get to my question.....I am very confused about scopes and sizes and makes etc etc and I am trying to learn quickly. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on the kind of scope that would be good for my usage (20% hunting - 80% target shooting)?? I know the advice is to spend as much money on the glass as possible but I quite like being married and my relationship with my bank manager is good at the moment!! So to sum up......a half-decent, not too pricey, multi-range, multi-use scope!!!! Is this possible?? Sorry for the long first post but will probably the first of many. I will fill in my profile too!!
