I want o do glay,pigeon and game shooting.I dont know which bore to get.I know i want a side by sideside.A 12 bore is more powerfull than a 20 bore so why is a 12 bore the ideal choice for game shooting.Could someone please give me a lecture on ballistics and what bore does what. Kind regards.

I will soon be buying a side by side for my first gun.I have only shot with OAU's before but i hate the look of them, and its mainly game shooting i want to do.I an not sure wheater to get a 20 bore or 12 bore.I hear 20 bores are the best for game shooting but i kow the cartridges are expenisive.Could someone please give me a rougth estimate on how much a box of 25 game cartridges would cost? Why would it be illegal.People shoot pigieons and duck with semi auto.A bit of a stupid rule.

I like semi auto.I was thinking of a camo semi auto in 20 bore.

I have just been clay shooting for the first time in two years and i hit more than i missed.I hopefully will have my certificate when i have smeone to finally countersign it. When and if i do get my licence i will buy a shotgun but i just dont know wheater to get and over and under or a side by side.I have not used a side by side but i think they look better than OAU's. I want to do alot of game shooting so what would be the best choice?

I have never fired a real rife before but i would like to have a go.Are there any clubs where you can go where you can have lessons.I think you need to be 21 for a rifle but im not sure,please correct me if i am wrong.I posted this in genral bantar as i thought maybe everyone could give me a bit of help and advice. I am going vlsy shooting at the weekend and im going to join the BASC.Do you need a shotgun cabinet for the home inspection?. Do you think i have reasonable chance of getting my licence.I have the application form ready as i printed it out, do you need to send a check for 50 pound with it?

Hi, I am a 17 year old A level student.I have done clay shooting in the past i decided to try it again.I still enjoy it so i thought about getting my own shotgun, i just dont belong to a club or anything and i dont live in the country side either. Is there even a point in applying or will i be wasting my time.
