  1. ok just looked at your vid, looks like I'm doing a constant flow of air instead of filling it gradually/manually to 200 BAR as you just did. In other words I was unsure if I had to keep turning the valve until it hit 200 or just leave it on a constant flow.

Thats helped no end tho cos I can see that you keep turning it until it gets to 200/

Great stuff mate, thanks a million.

  2. i have a logun solo fill the rifle to 200 bar. for 170bar to 200bar it is slowere as the cilender is bulding up preshure.

Any chance of you putting a short video link up (via photbucket or something) of the next time you charge your solo mate ?

    Cheers

  3. Was told by the guy in my local gun shop that Crosman are no longer making the Accupel which is a big favourite among a lot of airgunners on here, including myself. The reason he gave was that Webley (or someone, cant quite remember) are taking them over & will be producing their own version. Not sure if they'll be called the same or not but just thought I'd let you all know. I've been stocking up on fleabay !

PS - Soz if this has already been discussed elsewhere.

  4. Cheers for the reply Andy. The tank wont need filling as I had it done not so long ago. Maybe the gun is pretty much full due to the short fills I give it when I go out. I did notice a lack of power in the gun today as the pellet was dropping so charged it back up & the gauge seems to move up towards 200bar steadily, all ok after that.

Just hard to know how much to put it being as this is my first pcp & I'm still getting used to it :good:

  5. Hi guys,

I've recently bought a Logun Solo with 10-shot mag etc & have a 7 litre tank with din fitting gauge & hose etc.

I fill it in short bursts on a regular basis as I go out quite a bit but what I wanted to know is, obviously I cant & dont want to go over the 200 bar mark but when I try and fill on a constant flow the gauge needle doesnt go up as I fill only if I release more pressure. How long do I need to fill the gun for as at the moment I'm kind of guessing ?

It doesnt have the gauge on the rifle like the Air Arms models and I have noticed an air release hole under the stock which has released air in the past. Do you have to fill it until this air hole releases air ?

Hope I havent over complicated the question, but just wanna know the best & easiest way to fill her up without being too apprehensive.

  6. id stay clear of logun they usually let someone else build it then badge it as theres. id stick with gunmakers who make and develop their own.

Utter rubbish ! I own a logun & its fantastic.

your entitled to your opinion i have mine. any logun i tried was nt up to much, and their back up was awful unlike air arms.

Listen, AA are without doubt an amazing make but when it comes to badmouthing Logun, I just aint having that. The solo is made by FX in Sweden who are a reputable company and is a very well made & balanced gun. I tested various versions of Air Arms, Loguns, BSA's etc etc and chose mine and am glad I did because its a fantastic weapon at a fraction of the cost of the rest.

... like you said its your opinion but it doesnt mean to say its not wrong.

  8. Hi all i am thinking ov jumping on the pcp band wagon with a limited cash flow (due to the wife lol) i was thinking one ov these 2 may be a good choice

air arms s200 or bsa ultra

would you all be so kind to give me your views on these rifles i will also be using a pump to charge them up

    thanks in advance

    laf

Hi Laf, personally I like any air-arms pcp rifle and decided against the ultra due to its size ... really small ! I chose to go for the Logun Solo now woth multi-shot mag for around £300 brand new & have never looked back, its a fantastic gun. I also bought a diving bottle off fleabay for £55 so cheaper than a pump !

  9. Hi all. My Logun Solo is slowly leaking air from the adapter area (seals ??) and even though the prob is not massive it is somewhat annoying as I'm having to fill up every couple of days.

Litts in Newport (S.Wales) have quoted me around £90-£100 to repair it which I'm more than willing to pay, but just wondered if anyone has had the same prob and fixed it themselves or could maybe take a look at doing mine if in/around the area. I think the cost is mainly down to Litts having to send it away for repair rather than doing it inhouse.

    Thanks in advance.

  10. Thanks for all the replies guys ... much appreciated. I think I will prob go down the Hawke Sport route to go onto my new gun and not risk getting a Tasco made by someone else.

    Cheers

  11. Hi, Anyone got any views on the Air arms TX200?

    Thanks, Toby

I know of one for sale if you're interested Toby. I was offered one for £200 with Simmons scope, sheep skin bag & ammo inc, in the North Cornelly area of S. Wales.
