    free cap

i got my cap today, 3 months later!
  6. i would shoot them but scaring them could do the trick. theyre highly intelligent birds and once they associate an area with danger then they will be very wary about going there. the problem is though for that to work you would need to be doing it all day every day and if you had a couple of mornings off then they would likely just come back. 12ft/lbs from the weihrauch will be more than twice what the pistol is putting out in terms of power and will be up to the job of reaching 70m(not to kill though) but as someone said, only fire at that tree if its on your land. if you want rid though just get a rifle and cull them as its by far the most effective way. ive been doing that the last couple of years in my garden and i very rarley see any of them now. also the garden is full of song birds.
  7. that sheep had been dead for at least a few hours when it was eaten. you can tell this by there being no blood or arterial spray on the wool showing that the circulatory system was shut down. id put money on a dog or fox. if it was a big cat you would likley see wounds around the throat.
  8. Hi i'm trying to setup y fx2000 so that i can control power output through the transfer port and back right off the hammer spring pre compression so it cocks nice and smooth(quite stiff at the moment). having no trouble adjusting the transfer screw but based on the instructions i am at a total loss as to how to back off the hammer compression i' following the instructions and the 3mm pin i insert seems to drop right in but then if i turn the screw it just spins and doesnt adjust at all. im obviously being a right idiot somewhere here so if someone who's done this could post here or pm me better instructions i'd be grateful. Cheers
  9. basically any pcp CAN be converted to FAC levels by a gunsmith but not all will be good at that power. The axsor should be ok as it stems from the same blood line as the fx2000 ect. If you dont have your fac yet though i'd suggest waiting until you get it then find an FAC airgun to buy as these tend to go MUCH cheaper than their 12ft/lb versions. For example you can often find an fac rapid for about 300 quid wheras the 12ft/lb version would be nearer 500.

    bsa scorpion

Yes they can be turned FAC. Best bet is to get John Bowkett to do the work as he will also install one of his regulators into the gun so you will get a reasonable shot count at fac power. without the reg you would get very few shots before your air ran out.
  11. for 100 notes as someone said go for a second hand BSA supersport/lightning. you will do just as well with that gun as you will with a 400 quid springer.
  12. forgot to say i dont have any paperwork for the work but i can phone up and try and get you some. cheers
  13. Could you pm me your email address and i'll send pics that way? its a nightmare posting pics up here because of size limits ect! as for the scope, it's not included im afraid as it's the only one i have at the moment but i will pay the postage. thanks
  14. one more. if you're after more or pics of anything in particular then send me your email and i'll forward them there(much easier than resizing ect for here!)
