Hi Had a call last night off Josh a local mate,said he'd taken some sheep and lambs to some land of his near Caersws about 20 + miles from here. Said lot of crows on his reseeding. Its opposite to our cousins farm. Got up this morning early start and it was hammering it down thought thats not good. Put tv on and said drying later. It stopped here about 10 thought might as well go than sit on my butt all day. So 1/2 hour drive up to land, only a few hundered yards to the reseeded field. On walking to field about 80 mixed crows took off. Quick set up hide up out with about 15 decoys. After a while they started to come back, in mostly one's with the odd pair. Shot for a few hours ended with 33 or 34 thats all that came into shot distance, 29 in photo but i cant remember how many fell over the black thorn hedge 4 or 5 at least nearest gate 150 yards and i was not going to walk and get them All shot with 1/4 and 1/2 choke no 6 Trust carts. When i crossed over the main road for a cuppa with cousin another 2 farmers where there,said i'm welcome to shoot all of their farms
