  1. It seemed like a perfect evening to go for a bit of bunny hunting with the Airwolf and a lamp. So I turned up at the farm for 7.30, just as the light was fading. I Fitted the lamp on the rifle, loaded a mag and went walk about. There's something magical about being out after dark, the chance for the day shift to finish and the night workers come out! Pipistrelles whizzing about feasting on the late summer insects, the daytime calls of crows, pigeons, pheasants etc, replaced by owls and a distant fox. Even the various scents from field to field are different at night, enhanced I guess from the slightly damp autumn atmosphere....I just love it I only spent a short time out there, but could have wandered around 'til the small hours just immersed in the magic of our countryside and fauna
