    As the topic says, are Makita chain saws any good? My old Jonsered has given up the ghost and rather than spend time & money on repairing it I am looking at a replacement. The dealer that I bought my Jonsered from now only deals with Makita and may offer me a few pounds trade in against a new Makita. I only use the saw for slicing logs for firewood. I am also looking at Sthil & Huski`s. Any advice, cheers.
