  1. Had a night on the rabbits last night and we met up at 2045 hoping for a decent outing. Got all the gear out and ready and i had left the magazines at home for both rifles. What a blow i went all the way back home and collected them and we started the night an hour later than planned. We spotted a couple of rabbits out on the grass and decided to set up about 70-80 yards from them after they ran into the hedgerow. Rabbits kept appearing at different times throughout the evening and it was not an easy nights shooting. There was a very fine mist all night and the scope lens would be covered in it very quickly. We ended up having to spot a rabbit. Then clean the scope and then lamp it and try to get a shot in before the scope misted over again. Once we got the rhythm going we managed to start to drop a few. We both ended up with neither of us having any feeling in our toes due to the cold. It was a promising night and showed there are a good number of rabbits to go at. We eventually called it a night and finished up with eight rabbits.
