  1. Met up today with two members and got to the maize strips and they had been sprayed with slurry again. Saw the keeper just as we arrived and he said he had set a few pigeons up on his ride round. So as the plan was to get on a strip each we decided to give it a go. We got set up but it was very quiet this morning and nothing much about till the afternoon. There was not a lot of shooting going on and we had one move to do so we could all get some shots in. Doubt if i will try these strips again as we were only getting passing birds. We ended up with 20 woodpigeon and 8 ferals and a crow which is not in the photo. But it was a nice day out and and for once could shoot without a jacket on.
