  1. I got an invite to go and have a morning out bolting rabbits with ferrets. We met up at a cafe and started the day with a cooked breakfast and glad we did. It was blowing and showery on the way there and i did think we were in for a really wet day. We got started with the ferrets and had just got a couple of rabbits when the hail and rain started. That stopped us for about fifteen minutes while we had to take shelter in the vans till it blew over. So we started again and it was freezing in the wind and i had to put gloves on it was so cold. It could of also been the fact that i was the one facing into the wind and did not have my back to it. Nevertheless we had a good morning and only a few rabbits that bolted managed to evade us. We finished the morning with twenty rabbits and they were gutted when we finished. A couple of rabbits had young inside and we did see one small one sat outside a hole after we finished. We then went for a walk around another field after a few pheasants and managed to get three. Really enjoyed it and it was good fun.
