  1. I went out this morning to test some cartridges, it was quick only fired 2 for testing. Loads of crows about I tried eley pigeon select 30g 6s fiber wad and gamebore velocity 28g 71/2s fiber wad at 25 yards through my sxs with very little choke in the right hand barrel. I know there has been a thread or two about the eleys and a few people me included say you need tight chokes to get the best from them, any way what i found was a count of 131 hits in side a 30" circle witch equates to 50% of the 262 pellets but the pattern was a bit like a dough nut with a hole in the middle big only 35 pellets hit inside a 12" circle and only 4 inside 6" the gamebore had a count of 248 in the 30" equating to 83% of the 298 pellets with 64 in side 12" and 18 inside 6" with an even spread.
