Just thought I would share this.
I was working on the North Norfolk coast this morning and I was enjoying watching several skeins of greys coming off the marsh. I then noticed a different call, and I saw a skein of 30-40 pinks following the greys. That's the first I have seen this season. Funnily enough, the first I saw last season were in almost exactly the same place.
Hopefully they will be surrounding the wash in the next few weeks.
