  1. I try to control squirrel and rat for a smallholding near me which has a small fruit garden. Been shooting them, and putting down fenn mk4's. Had some rats on a run across a gate with un-baited traps, but the squirrels are beating me. I have tunnels on the floor and 1 where the entry is from the top, this one is 5 foot up a tree trunk, these are baited with peanut butter on the treadle plate or maize suspended on a paperclip above it. But mice are clearing up and leaving their calling card of droppings, even the one up the tree. How can I deter the mice ?
