  1. I've changed (back in the summer) to a mora q line which is like a clipper but thicker..... Just superb as a 4inch knife. Not much of a project but a very useful one... I've been wanting a neck knife and shorter knife ....... I've cut down my old clipper to 2.1/2 inches. Given it a bit of shape but not too pointy so it is more comfortable for the finger over the end for gutting. It is super light by using the old clipper plastic sheath but cut the end off then glue it back on but inside the main body.... Not pretty but it does exactly what I wanted it for. I've also added an 'O' ring for security and safety of the knife when in the sheath. For the lanyard , knot the para cord and sit the knot in the clip gap as this will keep the knife more stable on the cord. A very useful little general purpose knife and, other than bleeding out deer, great for field use.
