  1. I have a used SBS Gunmark Merlin ejector made by Bernadelli. It is 40 years old and worth at best £325 or so. When I renew home insurance later this month, they will cover items new for old, but I have to give a value for anything worth more than £1500. Now I'm pretty sure this gun would not have cost £1500 new in 1974, but to buy an equivalent new gun today I get the feeling I'd be looking at a couple of thousand! I am having trouble thinking of a modern Italian SBS I might compare it to..apart from the obvious Beretta which it never was (although I like to feel it was better made than an AYA no4).. Any ideas on what's out there ? I can't see Fausti SBS for sale in the UK any more..
