I was out looking for pigeons yesterday and found a few that i thought might be worth having a go at.So set off this morning and got set up just before midday.It was slow at first but i had watched this field yesterday and i was sure the pigeons would show later in the afternoon.I had shot a few and gave Stuart a ring and he was only 30 minutes away so i gave him directions and he joined me for the rest of the afternoon.I put out some scarers to try and keep the pigeons from landing on other parts of the field as they were coming from a few directions.It was a hot day today and the pigeons came in steady all afternoon.We packed in at 1800 after not seeing anything for 30 minutes. We ended the day with 74 birds picked.
