  1. While out ferreting on Friday we had a phone call from a farmer. He asked if we could in his words have a go at some geese asap that are grazing his neighbours wheat field. We told him we would be on it and would have a recce and get on the job as soon as we could. I had a recce this morning as it was pouring with rain and watched skeins of greylag geese landing on this particular field. At one time i counted over 250 and they came in over a period of 4 hours and there were still skeins flying about as i left. Well we are sorted for a couple of days shooting this coming week.So looking foreward to filling up the freezer with goose hopefully. Not very clear photos as taken on the phone. But if you squint your eyes you can see the geese in a long line just below the trees and hedgeline.
