Bought this gun from Mick back in January for a hefty £34.50 after feeling sorry for the old girl. Spent the last couple of months spare time cleaning decades of rubbish out of her before sending the wood to our very own Maestro demonwolf444 (James). The finished article will not please everybody but the gun should be good for at least another century and is certainly usable. Downside is that my camera skills are nowhere near good enough to truly depict the quality of the wood now that James has run his magical hands over it-I cannot believe how nice the stock has been finished, it feels like glass. James has been an absolute diamond during the restoration-his knowledge regarding guns and their restoration is outstanding when you consider his age and my sincerest thanks are due to him-Top Man.
