Long shot,I know, but does anybody recognise the following symptoms, Springer Spaniel, pupils wide open, temp 40, running around as he always does but when he stops his back legs bend then he falls to the side. He is at an overnight Animal Hospital at the moment incase he needs emergency treatment but they seem stumped as to a diagnosis. He has shown small signs of this before as sometimes he simply stops whatever he is doing and sits to one side. Any thoughts/ideas would be most welcome, the vets are leaning towards something he has eaten but, as this has happened before, I think they may be off track.
