  1. I know there are a lot of people who visit the airgun forum on here not just for pest controll. But i had an idea the other night, copied from things ive seen from other forums. Provided this is all OK with mods and forums rules and there is sufficient interest, I propose on a monthly or quarterly postal competition amongst members. The layout i propose would be of three classes; 10 yard, to allow those with smaller gardens to compete. 45 yard, for more of a challenge, And an Extreme class, which will be anything from shooting polo's to long range targets, pistol or night shooting. The competition will be informal, and free to enter, and entrys will be made in response to the monthly or quarterly post that sets out the rules of each class. Hopefully this will run off the good will of pigeon watch members who wont shoot a target at point blank to win - to be fair most people are decent enough shots to not need to. Depending on interest, we may be able to work out a propper "postal" with an entry fee, all proceeds of which will go to a winner. But just testing the water. Provided there is sufficient interest i will make the first Pigeon watch postal thread in time for February. Let me know what you think, and state your interest.
