Two of us met up last night for some rabbit shooting and it was raining. We decided to still have a go as it was supposed to fair up in the early hours of this morning. On with the waterproofs and we got down and waited for rabbits to appear. The rain came down even heavier and we took shelter under a leaky roofed lean to for a few hours. It eased a little around 0300 and we went back to the vans for a drink. We then got set up again in the rain and it started coming down heavier but we stuck it out till 0800 this morning. Laid under trees with rain dropping on us through the trees. Just as we packed in the rain stopped but we still had an enjoyable night shooting. Ended the session with 20 rabbits and 1 squirrel.
