  1. Met up with some members this morning hoping for a decent day on the pigeons. The weather forecast was not too good but we all turned up ready and prepared to get a little wet if we had too. We set up in three hides shooting different areas of the peas. It was raining when we set up and just got worse as the morning went on. The first thing i put up was the brolly as you could tell by the clouds we were in for a wet day. It rained most of the day with very short spells of dry periods. We must have had six or seven hours of rain between meeting at 0800 and packing in at 1700. But we still managed to get ourselves a few pigeons to brighten up the day. We ended up with a total of 49 wood pigeon and 4 crows. Two of the crows were left in the hedgerow by mistake and not in the photo. Everyone was shy and did not want their photo taken with the birds. So had to make do with Jess. Who was hosed down and is now asleep.
