  1. I have been watching the maize cover crops on this farm for a few weeks.I missed the first week or so last year but still had some fairly decent days shooting with guests before it was ploughed in. I was told today at the farm that it is to be cut this week but i will have to keep going for a look as they are not sure of which day. I did not see many pigeons about but a few crows were among some of the maize strips. Still plenty of maize left on the plants so it should attract the pigeons once cut. Anyone who asked for a day out should be ready for a call.
